At Home with Allie

Hi! My name is Allie. I moved to Indianapolis in November 2022 and feel like I’ve found myself, lost myself, and am trying to find myself again all in the span of 3 years. I’ve lived in three different apartments and just moved into our dream first together-home, and now we need to figure out what exactly “home” means to us. Obviously, “home is where the heart is” and “home is wherever I’m with you,” but what is our style? Is Indianapolis where we belong? Can we belong here for another five years or so? 

Pair this with the uncertainty of the job market, feeling constantly burnt out, and the idea of approaching our thirties with no set career plan – our future feels daunting. But how do we shift focus to the excitement of the unknown? How can we shift focus to feeling excited to create a home of our own and a life? 

That’s what this blog is going to touch on. Our adventures together, our home together, and all the ways I get up to mischief and chaos.
